Weekend weather looks sunny and warm
Just in time for Blues Festival and Snowmobile Grass Drags!

Looks like Mother Nature plans to cooperate to bring some great weather to Pinedale just in time for the Snowmobile Grass Drags and Blues Festival. The clouds and thundershowers will break on Friday and sunny skies will return. Daytime temperatures will be in the high 70s Saturday and Sunday.
A cold front moving through Montana and Wyoming is bringing cloudy skies and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday. Higher mountain peaks of Yellowstone Park and the Wind River Mountains may even see a dusting of snow.
Outdoor recreationists eyeing the weekend shouldn’t be discouraged by what they see Thursday and Friday. Much better weather will be here for the weekend! Blues Festival goers are encouraged to bring clothes to layer for warmth as the evening progresses. Temperatures may drop down into chilly 40s with nightfall.
For those trying to get haying done, the National Weather Service says to expect increasing rain showers, thunderstorms and possible hail in western Wyoming Thursday and Thursday night. The unsettled weather is expected to depart the area late Friday afternoon with drier and warmer weather moving in for the weekend. Ranchers should have two pretty good days to work without rain showers.
Chance for thunderstorms and showers return Monday through Wednesday, but daytime temperatures will stay in the high 70s and low 80s the first part of next week.
