Subsurface well head

The oil and gas operators working in the Pinedale Anticline are experimenting with a variety of alternative operating methods to try and reduce impacts of their drilling operations on wildlife, air and water quality, visual impacts and disturbance footprint. This Questar well site has sub-surface well heads which keep the operating part of these five wells beneath the horizon line, making the well pad more visually pleasing from a distance.
