Donna Steele has set the date for the second annual county-wide community barbecue in Boulder for Saturday, Sept. 8.
Festivities will begin at 2 p.m. in the community center.
Steele has made arrangements for beef and lamb to be prepared for the free community feast, and everyone is asked to bring a side dish. Bring your own booze.
There will be a dutch oven cookoff, for pros and amateurs alike, with prizes awarded.
Steele has also lined up a band, The Legend, for entertainment.
Donations to help cover the costs associated with this event are very much appreciated. In addition, the Boulder Store is selling tickets for a 50/50 pot, so buy those for $5 each or five for $20. Proceeds will help pay for the band and cleanup crew.
Come on over to Boulder to visit and get to know your neighbors, no matter where in the county you’re from!
