IPSSSDR Pinedale Stage to start at Pinedale Visitor Center in 2009

News flash! The START is to be in PINEDALE at the Visitor Center area and follow Pine Street to American Legion Park with the 35 mile course FINISH in Cora at the Upper Green parking area! This race is deemed to be as challenging as Alaska’s IDIDAROD. For 2009, mushers race to win an overall purse of $80,000 and can earn up to $80,000 in daily winnings.
Each fall we ask local businesses to support banner sponsorships to help keep the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states to stop in Pinedale/Cora. Banner Order Forms are due one month from now, December 19, 2009. This is a tax deductible donation, the 501(c) 3 number is 83-031494. Types of sponsorships:
Race Sponsor, $6,000.00
In years prior, Gayle Kinnison with Bottoms Up Brewery has been the overall race sponsor and we would welcome a new business as the Pinedale Stage Stop race sponsor.
Lead Dog Sponsor, $500.00
The single "Lead Dog" sponsor will have their banner on the lead musher that day and picture in the local papers.
Team Dog Sponsor, $350.00
The two "Team Dog" sponsors will have their banner on the second and third placed racers at the Pinedale Stage Stop
Wheel Dog Sponsor, $250.00
Unlimited banners to be presented around towns and on the mushers sleds at the Pinedale Stage Stop.
All sponsors are announced prior to the race both locally and regionally, in the IPSSSDR official program and on the wyomingstagestop.org website (that had over 1.2 million hits over this last year!).
