Junior Livestock animals available for sale

If you missed the Sublette County Fair Junior Livestock sale, you still have an opportunity to purchase an animal. Many of the kids participating in Fair raised more than one animal to show at Fair. They are only allowed to enter one in the livestock sale, so they have others still available for purchase.
"These are premium animals," said 4-H Educator Robin Schamber. "We work hard to get these kids to raise a very high quality animal and meat product."
She added that the youth often use more expensive premium show feed for these animals and they are very well taken care of. She hopes buyers will appreciate the extra work that goes into these animals and offer a premium price for them, above market price. "The price is ultimately between the buyer and the seller," she said. Buyers can go to this website to check current livestock prices: http://www.ams.usda.gov/. The kids can discuss options for processing and delivery.
The Sublette County Junior Livestock Sale Association thanks all the buyers who supported the youth at this year’s sale at Fair, and say thanks in advance to buyers of livestock from the youth listed below.
