More details on President Obama’s visit to Yellowstone Park on August 15th

The White House Media Affairs Office issued a few more details about the First Family’s visit to Yellowstone National Park on Saturday, August 15th. The President will land at West Yellowstone Airport, Montana at an unspecified time. Air Force One will depart from West Yellowstone Airport at 2:35 PM. The President’s park visit is closed to the public and media. The plane departure is closed to the public, but media may attend by prior arrangement. The White House media advisory did not give details if any specific road routes or the entire park might be closed for security precautions for the President’s tour on Saturday.
The National Park Service has waived entrance fees to Yellowstone National Park for the public on Saturday and Sunday. Following their visit to Yellowstone National Park, the First Family will travel to Grand Junction, Colorado where the President will hold a town hall meeting on his health care bill. The President is holding three town hall meetings on health care insurance reform this week. From Colorado, the First Family will travel to the Grand Canyon and Phoenix, Arizona before returning to Washington D.C.
