by Bridger-Teton National Forest September 3, 2009 The Little Brown Fire located on the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest was started by lightning during a storm on Sunday evening, August 30. It was discovered around 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 2 at which time it was approximately 20-acres. The fire is located 5-miles northeast of the town of Pinedale between Fremont Lake and Boulder Lake. The Bridger-Teton National Forest will manage the fire for resource benefit. Smoke is visible from the town of Pinedale and surrounding area. There are no road or trail closures associated with this fire. The fire danger for the Forest is rated as "High". |
