Subcontractors: There are a couple of new building projects that are coming up that will be hiring companies to do subcontracting work and provide supplies and machinery. Notices were posted in the September 18th Pinedale Roundup newspaper advertising requests for proposals and letters of interest. Below are more details about these projects:
Sublette County Fairgrounds new Livestock Barn
Contractor: Groathouse Construction Inc
What: Request for Proposals
Sublette County and Groathouse Construction Inc is requesting pre-qualified subcontractor bids for work. The project includes general construction, earthwork and storm drainage, foundations/slabs/site concrete, reinforcing material, masonry, steel material, gyp board assemblies, door & hardware, aluminum storefront doors/glazing, overhead doors/grilles, translucent panels, painting, mechanical, electrical, landscaping/irrigation systems, asphalt paving, sprayed fire resistive materials. All prospective subcontracts must be prequalified and receive notice from Groathouse Construction that they are prequalified. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on October 5, 2009 at 1PM. Faxed bids will be accepted at the Sublette County Clerk’s Office until 1:00 PM on October 15, 2009 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. What: Notice to Architects/Engineers, Request for Letters of Interest
Sublette County School District #9 and the Wyoming School Facilities Commission have issued a Request for Letters of Interest from firms/individuals for architectural and engineering services for the new construction of a K-5 Big Piney elementary school. An informational conference will be held at the Big Piney Fine Arts Administration Building, 115 S Nichols in Big Piney at 1:00 PM on September 30th to address questions about the project.
