Fire danger is rated High on the Bridger-Teton National Forest and a fire ban is being put into effect county-wide for no open fires. Fireworks are always prohibited year-round in Sublette County, with the exception of the approved, fire-department-supervised town displays.

The public is asked to abide by the fireworks ban and be very careful with fire. Outdoor recreationists should bring self-contained stoves for their cooking needs on camping and hiking trips into the forest.
