Dave Bell hiked into Straight Creek basin in the Wyoming Range last Saturday. "I suppose it is possible Saturday was the final non-snow hike of the year, as the weather forecast appears to indicate of week of very unsettled weather including snow in the mountains. So, I chose Straight Creek, which is pretty much straight up, and into the Straight Creek basin at the base of Wyoming Peak. This is maybe my favorite area of the Wyoming Range as Wyoming Peak and Mt. Coffin are spectacular mountains. Great day, and wonderful way to end the summer."
