The Bureau of Land Management Pinedale Field Office (PFO) has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) and decision record (DR) for the High Plains Ventures, LLC sand and gravel operation two miles northwest of Pinedale, Wyoming, on BD Boulevard.

The DR approves the mining of federal subsurface minerals under 40 acres of private surface land as analyzed in the environmental assessment (EA). The EA also analyzed the impacts of surface operations, including the mining and processing of sand and gravel and the operation of an asphalt plant, which are under the administration of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality.
