Town of Pinedale update – November
No Dig date, Halloween, movie theater project, travel & tourism, P&Z
by Town of Pinedale
October 23, 2015
It’s hard to imagine that we are about to hit the 1st of November, but we are. There are a couple notable dates we want to remind you of. The first one is the annual "No Dig" date of November 1st. Starting November 1st, no digging is allowed in the Town’s right of ways. This is to prevent accidents that occur as a result of frozen ground taking more with it than planned. Of course if you have an emergency and need to dig in the Town right of way after that, please contact us.
The next is the annual Halloween celebration down Pine Street. Halloween after hours will start October 30th at 4 PM. Please avoid Pine Street if you can or slow down, and watch for children. The Town of Pinedale will be providing crossing guards, but only until 6 PM at the close of the event. That said, there will still be a lot of people out on all the streets.
The next night, Saturday night (October 31), the streets will again be busy with trick or treaters. So again, please slow down, pay careful attention, and have a safe evening.
On Monday, November 2nd, we invite you to come to a Public Hearing regarding the proposed movie theater project. This topic is important, so please come and participate in this decision. The meeting will be held at the Lovatt Room of the Sublette County Library at 7:00PM.
Next, the Pinedale Travel and Tourism Commission is hosting a Fall Tourism Mixer on Tuesday, November 3rd at Stockman’s in Pinedale from 4 PM till 6 PM. If you have a business that benefits from tourism or a tourism idea, we’d love to see you.
The Pinedale Planning and Zoning Commission has a vacant seat. If you would like to be on the commission, please contact Hayley at Town Hall for more information, 307-367-4136.
Have a safe and fun fall! We hope to see you soon.
