Free avalanche training class in Pinedale January 15-16

There will be a free avalanche training class in Pinedale Friday and Saturday, January 15-16 offered by the U.S. Forest Service and the Sweetwater Snowpokes snowmobile club. It will be held at Hampton Inn & Suites in Pinedale and at the Kendall Valley Fire Department north of Cora. There are no fees for this class.
The classroom portion of the class will be held on Friday night at the Hampton Inn starting at 7pm. Saturday will be the "in-field" practical portion of the class meeting at the Kendall Valley Fire Department north of Cora. Please bring beacons, probes, shovels (if you have them) and your snow-machines if you're a rider. Transportation has been arranged for our non-riders.
