Town of Pinedale update: Snow
by Town of Pinedale
January 26, 2017
The Town of Pinedale will be removing the snow piles that have accumulated due to the snowfall we have received, so far, this winter. The Town will be working with a private contractor, who will be bringing in large dump trucks that will be used, in conjunction with Town loaders, to remove the snow. This work will be done overnight, with work beginning at approximately 11PM and ending at 7AM. The streets and areas are prioritized. Pine Street is where the work will begin and has the highest priority. Pine will be followed by commercial parking areas, and then snow piles will be removed from residential areas that are a safety concern. Due to budget constraints, not all snow piles will be removed.
The Town of Pinedale would like to remind residents to continue to run a bleeder to prevent lines and pipes from freezing. The Town of Pinedale recommends that there is a dedicated bleeder line in the home to prevent any plumbing fixtures, used for bleeding purposes, to unintentionally be turned off. If your plumbing does freeze, please contact a plumber. There are some in our area that offer thawing service. Thawing of lines or pipes is not a service the Town of Pinedale offer but please, contact the Town if this does happen. Please contact Town hall at (307) 367-4136.
