Boulder Lake water level to be lowered
Caution advised for recreationists and ice fishermen

Monday, March 6, 2017 Public Notice: The Boulder Irrigation District will be lowering the water level of the Boulder Lake Reservoir over the next month or so. As water is currently going over the spillway, this measure is being taken to help ensure the integrity of the Dam is not compromised with the high water runoff that is expected from the mountains this spring. Our hope is that the ice on the lake follows the receding water level. Recreational users of the lake, please be aware that this might cause hazards on the lake that have not been encountered before.
