Arnie sent in photos of the 2017 Green River Rendezvous Pageant. The Green River Rendezvous Pageant is proudly presented by the Green River Rendezvous Pageant Association, a volunteer organization dedicated to keeping the Pageant tradition alive. The Pageant is a way to relive the history of the mountain man and the Rocky Mountain fur trade as it occurred in the Upper Green River Valley in the early 1800s. Six of the 16 Rocky Mountain rendezvous were held in the Green River Valley near what are now Daniel and Pinedale, Wyoming. The Rendezvous Pageant is part of Green River Rendezvous celebration in Pinedale and it is always held Sunday afternoon on the second full weekend in July.
