Pinedale Rocks Smile Sunshine found at the Pinedale Post Office. Keeping for awhile... Smile Sunshine Found at the Pinedale Post Office

It has been fun lately seeing cheery painted rocks appearing in places around Pinedale. The painted rocks have uplifting messages and drawings on them. We found this one at the Pinedale Post Office last week.

Pinedale Rocks was started in September by Gwen Stach Tabb. "I have started this group in Pinedale because I have seen this being done in another town and how excited the whole town was about the painted rocks. Plus, I have found myself looking for signs from time to time and just the smallest of signs can help get you through your day! So whether the rocks have a saying on it, has a funny picture or just a painted rock it is a good feeling to anyone. It is also fun to see the smiles when someone finds a rock or to hear that it helped make someone’s day! Hope you all join in on painting and hiding rocks!!"

If you find one, you may re-hide it around town, keep it if you find it has special meaning to you or someone you know, or move it on to a new town (state…country!). More about these rocks can be found on Facebook #pinedalerocks.
