The Pinedale Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is proud to present a new pilot concert series on Wednesday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Rock Rabbit Stage (23 W. Pine).
The inaugural show will feature Nashville-based soul duo Freddy & Francine with special guest Michelle Humber. This show is free, kid friendly and outdoors, so bring a chair. Street vendors will be selling food and drink too!
Dubbed "Downtown Sounds," the new rotating series will take place at for sale buildings, vacant lots and alleyways in Pinedale’s downtown district.
The purpose of this series is to present smaller DIY concerts in areas of downtown Pinedale that are often overlooked, underutilized, forgotten or avoided.
With the Downtown Sounds Series PFAC hopes to spur economic development and draw attention to downtown spaces that go unnoticed.
The new series is funded by a grant via the Wyoming Business Council’s Placemaker Challenge. Following a grant submission, Pinedale was selected as one of five communities in Wyoming to participate in the challenge. If Pinedale wins the challenge, PFAC could receive up to $10K to continue the full series.
