Fox Business News posted an article on March 28th featuring a company that does natural gas drilling and production in Sublette County, Wyoming. Paul Ulrich, Vice President of Jonah Energy, told Fox News, "The single largest misconception about natural gas is that we can’t do it clean."
Ulrich said about 40% of electric generation in the U.S. is powered by natural gas. Ulrich said Federal land development is some of the cleanest oil and gas produced in the country, if not the world, because of the environmental regulations that are in place.
The Jonah Field was one of the largest onshore natural gas discoveries in the early 1990s. It is located south of Pinedale, Wyoming. Jonah Energy, in Sublette County, Wyoming, operates over 2,400 producing wells in the area.
