The Wyoming Department of Health reports cases of COVID-19 have dropped significantly during February and March, 2022. According to their data, there have been 122,950 laboratory confirmed cases as of March 18, 2022. They report 121,159 cases recovered. That equates to a 98% recovery rate over the past two years of the pandemic. They also report there have been zero deaths of any child age 18 or under from the virus in Wyoming over the past two years. The last death in the state was reported as of March 5, 2022.

In Sublette County, there has only been 1 laboratory-confirmed case in the previous 14 days (data as of March 18, 2022). There have been a total of 1,322 lab-confirmed cases during the two years of the pandemic in the county, with 1,301 confirmed recovered, a 98% recovery rate for the county similar to the state numbers.

Teton County, which saw a rapid spike in cases in late December 2021, has also seen a big decline in infections. They report 9,628 total laboratory cases and 9,609 cases recovered, a 99% recovery rate for the two years of the pandemic.

Wyoming hospitals report only 17 COVID-19 patients in state facilities as of March 18, 2022. St. John’s Medical Center reports one patient as of March 18, 2022.

On March 14th, Governor Mark Gordon signed an Executive Order rescinding the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency in Wyoming.

The Federal nation-wide Public Health Emergency Executive Order extended by President Biden remains in effect as of the time of this article.
